And what of the man himself?

Tony, a lifelong Wellingtonian, became a Wairarapa-ite in the last couple of years living in Carterton. Three of his six children and his grandchildren live there too which gives even more reason to be there. Working in Wellington four days a week and the rest in the Wairarapa gives him the balance he enjoys experiencing city culture and its faster pace of life while having time to contemplate the wonders of an amazing rural landscape, relaxed way of life and of course the local wines.
